Nikon Coolpix S1000pj torn asunder, L-shaped projector module examined

ifixit’s gotten ahold of Nikon’s new camera – projector hybrid, the Coolpix S1000pj, and done what they do… meaning they’ve ripped it apart. Okay, they slowly and carefully disassembled it while painstakingly photographing the proceedings. Most interesting to us, of course, is the Nikon developed, L-shaped projector we just heard about that makes the whole set up possible, and we have to say that the internal layout of the S1000pj is terribly impressive to behold.
