I’m not a big fan of the camera neck strap. I never use it as a neck strap but I put up with it because I would drop my camera if that strap wasn’t there. However, I’m going to ditch that strap and make me one of these hand straps. That is, of course, if something else on the Internet doesn’t distract me first.
The instructions are easy enough. Basically the strap is made up of nylon webbing and a couple of grommets. The whole thing is attached to the tripod mount on the bottom and one of the neck strap mounts up top. What I like best about this simple solution is that you could easily switch the strap’s side for left handed weirdos like my wife.
