Verizon asks Sprint to drop ‘most dependable’ claims

Wireless provider Verizon’s requests to the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus was heard and the national ad watchdog is now asking Sprint to cease calling itself “America’s most dependable 3G network.” According to a Tuesday report, the division argued independent tests performed by Nielsen Co. showed Verizon in fact suffers from fewer blocked or dropped calls than Sprint.
