Sony Walkman X gets much improved web browser

Sony finished up its week with a major firmware upgrade for the Walkman X1000. The 1.1 update significantly ramps up the accuracy and speed of the NetFront web browser, whose performance was a liability in our review and has compared poorly against those in rival devices like the iPod touch and Zune HD. It also brings faster scrolling and an update that uses Bing instead of the now outdated Windows Live Search….
