NEC intros energy-efficient, short-throw projectors

NEC Display on Monday added two new projectors to its NP series of short-throw devices, including the NP510WS and the NP610S. Meant for classrooms and conference rooms that are small and don’t have the space for a contemporary projector, the NP510WS is widescreen while the NP610S uses a standard aspect ratio. Either, however, has environmentally-friendly features meant to expand the life of the projectors. An ECO Mode will let the lamp last for up to 5,000 hours, while power consumption and noise levels (29dB) are kept low….
