Panasonic DMP-BD65 Blu-ray player

Panasonic’s latest DMP-BD65 Blu-ray player is ready to hit the Japanese market a day after Valentine’s, retailing for €305 thereabouts. Measuring a mere 199mm slim, you get a host of specifications and features including x.v.Color, BD Live, a USB port and Video On Demand services such as YouTube. It is interesting to note that the DMP-BD65 is DLNA compliant, which means it will play nice with other similarly compliant devices over your home network. Don’t fret about your back collection of DVDs and audio CDs, the DMP-BD65 handles them with aplomb as well. To make this even more future proof, it has an SDXC memory card slot alongside onboard decoding for Dolby NR TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio standards. Now how about bringing this puppy Stateside, hmmm?

Word in the street is ViewSonic's on the brink of unveil a fresh, ICS-equipped 7-inch tablet at MWC (together with everyone else). The ViewPad G70, which might be a follow-as much as that budget-friendly E70 we showed you at CES, is rumored to hold a touch heavier $350 price ticket than its sibling. While the slate's best feature might be Google's 4.0 treat , ViewSonic's… »
