Word has it that Sony is going to come up with a waterproof model of a new digital camera known as the DSC-TX5, where it will come in the slim and stylish form factor that is found in the current T Series. Said rumors point to this underwater point-and-shoot device that will feature a touch resistive screen that works even when you’re swimming with the fishes, while it will most likely come with a 10-megapixel Exmor CMOS system and 4x Zeiss formula in the lens. Chances are it will retail for around $300 thereabouts if proven to be true. Now if only Sony could make it as tough as the other Olympus mju cameras, that’d be truly something worth checking out.
