Will decided to turn an ordinary looking Billy Bass into a device that can play back selectable audio clips according to your whims and fancies. Needless to say, this would mean removing the original printed circuit board, where it has been replaced by a pair of PIC 18F452 microcontrollers instead. Power transistors have also been put within to control the movement, while handling an MP3 player chip that will make sure all sound clips are played back correctly. LEDs help with the overall visual effect, while a dial is used to select individual sound clips that are shown on its 4 × 20 character LCD display.
