There is a new music file format in town, and it comes from none other than several key figures behind the development of the super famous MP3. Dubbed MusicDNA, this new file format will be able to hold metadata such as lyrics, videos, artwork and even blog posts. To make matters all the more interesting, all of it can be continually updated alongside the music to make it one dynamic file format. This will be one very searchable file which has the ability to tote up to 32GB of additional information in the file itself. Guess downloading such a file might be a royal pain in the rear end, especially for folks who live in areas where bandwidth is at a premium. Talk about maxing out your iPhone’s storage space with just one file!
