Walmart debunks Nexus One sale

You know what they say, you can never be too careful in your line of work, and Walmart.com made a huge boo-boo by putting up an erroneous page which claims to be selling a Google Nexus One at $99 that can run on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon’s 3G networks. Here’s what they have to say about this error.

“Due to a technical error, this item erroneously was displayed on our site. We have no plans to carry Nexus One in Walmart stores or online at Walmart.com at this time.”

Ah well, move along now kids, but let us keep our fingers crossed that one fine day, Walmart will see the light and make such a tantalizing offer.
