Cypress Semiconductor TrueTouch technology

Cypress Semiconductor and their latest TrueTouch technology is applicable to capacitive screens which range anywhere from 7″ to 17″ in size, where all of them will boast multitouch support. Just to stress on how workable their technology is, Cypress Semiconductor recently unveiled a 14″ tablet-sized prototype display that can recognize – get this, unlimited finger touches. Being Windows 7 certified, we could very well see this appear in notebooks and tablet PCs down the road, although there is no official announcement on an actual product release just yet.
