PC Online managed to spend some time with a black Dell Streak/Mini 5 prototype, also known as Model M01M which can be spotted under the battery cover. In terms of specifications, the Mini 5 prototype is endowed with a 5″ touchscreen display at 800 x 480 resolution running on the Android 1.6 operating system (hopefully it will be equipped with version 2.1 by the time it rolls out), a 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a front camera. It has been slapped with a $1,098 price tag after conversion, but bear in mind this prototype’s price tag is such that it is an unrealistic representation of what the actual device might cost in the real world.
