Nikon aims to make a big splash at the upcoming PMA event with at least four digital cameras being announced, with the P100 leading the way in terms of interest. Why so? The Nikon P100 is touted to be the first device from Nikon that comes with a back-illuminated sensor, which will grant it a much higher level of performance in low light conditions. Logically speaking, the P100 ought to oust the P90 ultrazoom while featuring a long-ranged 26x lens of its own. Apart from that, other rumored digital cameras include the S3000 and S8000, where the latter is touted to be the slimmest camera to date with a 10X lens. Last and certainly least would be a new entry-level compact digital camera – the L110 that won’t turn any heads. Ah well, we’ll just have to wait until PMA looms before getting more detailed information on the above mentioned.
