This probably isn’t going to be the best news that you’ve heard all day, but you’ll find out sooner or later anyways. It seems that AT&T might be requiring messaging plans when you pick up certain feature phones. The phones which will require a messaging plan at this point include the Pantech Reveal, Pantech Impact, Motorola Karma, Samsung Flight, Samsung Impression, Samsung Magnet, Samsung Solstice, Samsung Mythic, Samsung Propel, LG Xenon, LG Neon, and the LG Vu. Aside from that, it seems that you’ll have to shell out about $20/month as the plan will include $5 for 200 SMS/MMS, and a $15/month unlimited data plan. What do you think of this latest development, will it affect the choice of your next cell phone purchase?
