Junimotion hobby robot arrives

There is a new hobby humanoid robot known as Junimotion which will hit the market sometime in the next quarter if all goes well with South Korean manufacturer Robotro. The kit comes with a special dual-servo attachment structure, simple wiring that results in fewer cables and durable frame brackets. Vital statistics include a 39cm height, 2.8kg weight, connections for LEDs, audio, and sensors, a 3-axis gyro sensor, and is controllable via Bluetooth. That’s right, if someone writes a brilliant app for a cellphone, the Junimotion will do your phone’s bidding (as long as it is physically capable of doing so). Battery life stands at up to 30 minutes of usage, while we don’t know anything about its pricing but do be prepared to fork up to $4,000 for one.
