Skype Mobile App - Verizon and Skype Partnership

[MWC 2010] The partnership announced today will bring Skype to Verizon Wireless 3G smartphones in March, allowing Verizon customers to place free or cheap international phone calls as well as offering Skype users around the world the ability to communicate with them. The Skype Mobile Application will be available in March for Verizon 3G smartphone users with data plan, it includes:

  • make and receive unlimited Skype-to-Skype voice calls to any Skype user in the world
  • call international phone numbers at competitive Skype Out calling rates;
  • send and receive instant messages to other Skype users;
  • no additional fee, regular Skype fees arecharged,/li>
  • remain always connected with the ability to see friends’ online presence.
