FinePix Z700EXR – Wins DIMA Award

[PMA 2010] We published about the new Fujifilm FinePix when it launched in early February, and yesterday, I could get my hands on the award-winning FinePix Z700EXR that features an ultra stylish design with a really cool touch interface. The wave-like shape on the front conveys a dynamic and elegant look while providing a comfortable grip to slide the lens cover. One of the most interesting feature is the 3.5” touchscreen display that gives access to a user friendly interface with extensive functions.

The FinePix Z700EXR features the new 12-MegaPixel Super CCD EXR sensor, a Fujinon 5x Periscopic optical zoom lens (36-180mm equivalent) and ISO levels of up to 1600 at full resolution,a Dual Direction GUI that detects the orientation of the camera and automatically switches the direction of the menu button accordingly and Dual Image Display splits the screen in various ways to view multiple images at once. Additionally, you will be able to upload Facebook/YouTube with the easy web upload button, and snap good pictures of people and animals thanks to the Face and Pet recognition functions.  Go to theproduct page to see the full specifications.

The FinePix Z700EXR will be available March 2010 at a retail price of $279.95.
