Samsung Galaxy Spica to get Android 2.1 update

Folks living in Canada will be able to get hold of the Android 2.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy Spica from today onwards, which is definitely more than welcome since the Galaxy Spica shipped with the rather dated version 1.5. Other features that will be made available to the Spica after Android 2.1 will include nine side-scrolling screens, augmented reality technology, visual bookmarking and improved camera options among others.
