Teclast has shown off its K9 ereader which was paraded at the EREXPO held in where else but Shenzhen, China, displaying a plethora of iPad-lookalikes. This model is different from the other clones since it comes with both an ebook reader function as well as being a Mobile Internet Device. With a couple of systems running independently, you ought to get rockin’ and readin’ with this in a jiffy. Features include a 6″ e-ink display for ebooks, while a 480 x 272 resolution TFT color display is good for videos as well as surfing the Internet. Rumor has it that the non-ebook segment is powered by Google’s Android OS, but that has yet to be confirmed.
