Could Apple be placing more and more importance on social networking and keeping people connected? After the recent iGroups patent that was dug up, now a patent filing regarding the integration of social networking profiles that uses an interface like the popular Cover Flow interface has surfaced. Sure, Cover Flow might not be the most practical way to browse through stuff, but it’s certainly good eye candy, and everybody seems to go “ooh!” the first time they see it. Would you want to be able to browse through your friends’ social network profiles in Cover Flow style, or are you happier with the traditional searching method?
