LG 15-inch EL9500 OLED TV Now Shipping In The UK

LG’s 15-inch EL9500 OLED TV is already on sale in Korea, but now it seems that it has also started to ship in the UK, with Amazon UK listing the TV for £1,970 ($2,968). It’s probably worth noting that Sony’s 11-inch XEL-1 OLED TV is currently going for $1,699 at Amazon, though it isn’t entirely clear how long the company will be offering it, since it has already discontinued manufacturing it over in Japan. LG’s EL9500 sports a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, as well as a 1366 x 768 resolution display, not to mention the fact that the screen is just 1.7mm thick.
