New Details On Honda’s P4 Robot

Details of Honda’s ASIMO prototype, the P4, seem to have leaked to the Internet. We now know that the P4 robot is about the same height as the P3, standing tall at 160cm, but with a handy weight reduction from 130kg down to 80kg. The P4 even looks much slimmer than its previous models, not to mention it has some rather nice looking blue covers on its upper torso and feet. The P4 sports 34 degrees of freedom, which is 4 more than the P3, thanks to the extra 2 per hand). Walking has also been improved, thanks to its flexible waist.
