T-Mobile To Rollout HSPA+ To More Than 100 Areas

T-Mobile looks like it will be snatching (and holding on to) the title of the nation’s fastest wireless 3G network, thanks to its HSPA+ network, covering 185 million people, which is a lot more than the 120 million Sprint’s 4G does. HSPA+ is backwards compatible with HSPA 7.2 devices, which is certainly great news for T-Mobile, as existing Android phones from the carrier will be faster. With T-Mobile facing stiff competition from other carriers such as AT&T and Verizon, hopefully the introduction of HSPA+ will help speed up the connection, and provide more stability to users.

Press release.
