Dean Segovis had some spare time on his hands, coming up with this All Terrain vacuum which was built with parts from a Roomba. It will rely on wheels to get around in conjunction with gearboxes which will do a whole lot of the dirty work, all working in tandem on a Rocker-bogie suspension. The inclusion of an ultrasonic sensor helps it avoid obstacles, while an Arduino processor will do all the thinking on its behalf. Will the official Roomba take on such a form factor in the near future?
