Huawei creates a new record with the fastest LTE-advanced downlink speed which is capable of hitting 1.2 Gb/s at CTIA Wireless 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This record speed is over 40 times that of current commercial 3G networks, and will no doubt revolutionize the user experience by meeting bandwidth requirements of data-heavy applications. Currently, Huawei has deployed over 60 LTE networks worldwide, where nine of those are commercial ones. Can’t wait to see this in action Stateside though – imagine streaming video on your handset over this network!
