
It seems that acquisitions are in the air, and following Nokia’s acquisition of Novarra, RIM has also snapped up Viigo, a Toronto-based company that has been working together with RIM for some time now. Viigo’s most popular product is its News & RSS application, but it also offers other applications related weather, sports, business & finance, social networks, etc. Viigo has stated that it will continue to bring its expertise in BlackBerry application development and real-time content delivery to the BlackBerry platform. Sounds good.
