
Sanyo has unveiled its latest devices in its series of Gorilla PND (personal navigation device), namely the NV-SD740DT, NV-SB570DT and NV-SB550DT. Aside from the more obvious design changes, there are other improvements to enhance user experience such as a faster and more responsive user interface and GPS localization. The higher end 7-inch NV-SD740DT offers 16GB of memory, LED backlight, more detailed maps with a 5m maximum zoom, as well as 4.5 hours of battery life in GPS mode. The devices also offer advanced photo, music and video playback capabilities, as well as being able to double as a digital photo frame. These devices also come with the standard 1Seg TV tuner, which should go some way to make your life more interesting, eh?
