Cravendale milk jug lets you know whether content is fresh or not

There is nothing quite like a jug of fresh milk to go along with your hot cuppa each morning, and the folks at Cravendale managed to come up with a special kind of milk jug which will actually alert you whenever the milk it holds has soured. This is made possible thanks to a PH sensor located at its base which is capable of measuring the PH acidity of the jug’s contents, informing you over the exterior LCD display. Hmm, we do wonder how the LCD display is powered – perhaps it uses the same technology as those external hard drives with special displays which do not require any power?
