For those who still have a soft spot for Windows Mobile 6.5 with that extremely faint hope of Microsoft offering Windows Phone 7 patches in due time, then you might be pleased to know that the Toshiba K01 is already under scrutiny by the folks over at the FCC. The K01 will be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, accompanied by a QWERTY keyboard, a 4.1″ AMOLED touchscreen display, 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/EDGE frequency support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. No idea on pricing though should the handset roll out (which it probably will shortly), so stay tuned.
