iPad Personal Setup Service from Apple

iPad Personal Setup Service from Apple

With the iPad more than ready to make a splash this coming Saturday, Apple is preparing itself to answer a slew of questions from its potential customers, where their retail stores will offer a free Personal Setup service to iPad customers. All customers who purchase an iPad at a retail store (which are said to be limited to just 15 at Best Buy, and even that will be spread evenly among the models on offer) will also be bestowed with additional time with an employee in order to help the less technically inclined among them to set up email accounts, install their favorite apps from the store and more. Not only that, all US Apple Stores will host special iPad workshops this Saturday morning. This looks set to be a great PR move on Apple’s part as it would go a long way in securing long term customers with the right footing, but then again we believe most iPad users would already be avid Apple fans.

This tallies… »

Word in the street is ViewSonic's on the brink of unveil a fresh, ICS-equipped 7-inch tablet at MWC (together with everyone else). The ViewPad G70, which might be a follow-as much as that budget-friendly E70 we showed you at CES, is rumored to hold a touch heavier $350 price ticket than its sibling. While the slate's best feature might be Google's 4.0 treat , ViewSonic's… »
