PR2 Robot Folds Your Laundry For You

We’re certainly waiting for the day that robots will be able to do all the mundane household chores for us, and that includes folding the laundry. Sure, Foldy could do that, but we don’t mind having another alternative, and that’s Willow Garage’s PR2. This robot has been taught how to fold your laundry, though it seems like the robot has started with something easy, such as a towel. Fiddling with cloth isn’t the easiest thing for robots to do, for obvious reasons, and we’re glad to see that robots are making progress in household chores, after all, it means that we can become lazier, which is always comfortable.
