
Looks like the 3.21 firmware update for the Sony PS3 isn’t all peachy and rosy, since it not only removes the “install other OS” option, it also includes locking legitimate owners out of their PSN account, with the console not loading a disc after the update. For the more extreme situation, some users have even complained about being unable to turn on the PS3 once the update is applied, while others saw their console freeze during the firmware update process. Sony has yet to respond to all these allegations and complains, so we hope that something will be done soonest possible if they are legit.
