Murata, the company who came up with the unicyclist robot that we covered back at CEATEC, has now come up with the world’s smallest Bluetooth module, the LBMA series. Measuring in at just 3.5×3.5x1mm, it’s a good 30 percent smaller than the previous generation. Finally, the Bluetooth here is RoHS complain and matches the Bluetooth 2.1+EDR specifications. Now we can have even tinier phones that sport Bluetooth connectivity.
