Transmitting your music wirelessly to your speakers might often subject it to interference, but the Interference Avoiding Wireless Speaker sidesteps that by operating over the FM frequency, allowing it to avoid interference from cordless phones and microwaves. The transmitter can connect to an iPod or any other audio device via a 3.5mm audio jack and can broadcast to its speaker from up to 100 feet away. The 12-watt subwoofer is augmented by an acoustic bass chamber, allowing it to produce powerful low range sounds while the 3-watt tweeter provides the high frequencies. The speaker powered by eight size-C batteries while the transmitter is powered by four AA batteries, though if you’re short on batteries you can always fall back on AC power.
