M55 EVO-001 Luxury Electric Bike

Electric bikes may not be all that popular, but if you’re fairly rich, you can get some really cool electric bikes, such as the M55 EVO-001, which is made from a single-piece molded aluminum frame. This bike offers an integrated battery pack along with a strategically positioned motor for better stability. There will be two different versions of this bike, the first being a street legal version with a 250W motor, while the other is an off-road sport version that packs a 1300W motor. The bike is equipped with Brembo disc brakes in order to bring the bike to a halt from its top speed of 43mph. This handmade bike is a limited edition and there will only be 250 units made, so you’d better get your checkbook ready.

Looks to be a great piece of engineering but for the not-so-rich convert a full suspension bike with a hub motor and mount some prismatic cells and you got over 20 mile range for the price of the bike plus $1000.

The corporate was working its way in to the mobile chipset business for a short time now, and its latest is aimed squarely on the lower end of the handset spectrum but still promises to deliver the most recent in… »
