
Reports were going around yesterday that Motorola would be ditching Google in favor of Skyhook when the announcement of its Skyhook partnership appeared yesterday. Now Motorola has released a statement via its Facebook page stating that the move bears no ill-intentions towards Google and is only planning to use Skyhook to enhance the abilities of its location-based services and apps. The cell phone giant confirmed that both Google Maps and Skyhook will be able to live on the same device.
