LG Fathom and LG Aloha ready to rock with Verizon Wireless next month

Verizon Wireless will be offering a couple of new handsets from LG this coming May, with the LG Fathom and LG Aloha being mentioned. The former will run on the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and feature a touchscreen as well as a keyboard to give you the best of both worlds, while the LG Aloha looks set to be the more favored model considering the rising popularity of Android and the decline of Windows Mobile. We’re looking at Android 2.1 on the Aloha alongside a speedy 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera that does 720p video capture as well. No idea in pricing, but it would be nice to see how Verizon spaces the launch periods.
