The Volkswagen bik.e is now part of the electrical vehicle revolution, where it represents a tiny bicycle sans pedals since you rely on its internal battery to get you moving. When not in use, it will fold down quickly into a flat disc which will fit into the spare tire compartment that is located at the bottom of most car trunks. VW claims that the bik.e will have a working range of approximately 12.5 miles, hitting a top speed of 12.5mph. No idea on its carging time, but it seems that the bik.e’s batteries can be juiced up by a car’s DC current and through a standard AC plug as well.
