While the market is in the midst of being flooded with tablet devices, one of the devices that stand out from the rest, aside from Apple’s iPad, is the WePad which sports a rather pretty design and some good specifications. Now the company has officially announced that it has renamed the device as the WeTab, so that they can clearly differentiate their products within the international market for tablet computers. Aside from the name change, the technical specifications of this device remain exactly the same, so you’ve still got your Atom processor, 1.3-megapixel webcam, 11.6-inch display and other stuff. Aside from that, the device has also gone up for pre-order on Amazon.de, though there wasn’t any shipping date mentioned. The asking price for the WeTab is €449 ($572) for the 16GB Wi-Fi version and €569 ($725) for the 32GB 3G version.
