Sprint Quietly Offers The Android 2.1 Update For Its Samsung Moment

Owners of the Samsung Moment on Sprint’s network should be quite happy to hear that the carrier has quietly released the Android 2.1 update for the smartphone. Apparently the carrier still lists the CL14 build on its support page, but the download link takes you to an updater that bumps your Android version to Android 2.1 build DE03. The updater will need to be run from a Windows PC and you’ll need to take all the usual precautions, such as backing up your data and removing the microSD card, as this update erases all your data on the device.
