The beta version of Twitter for BlackBerry is about two months old, but it seems like that app has gotten a much needed update, and RIM will be prompting existing BlackBerry Twitter users in the US, UK and Canada to update their apps. The updated app includes some useful features such as the ability to edit retweets, auto-completing a contact’s username, showing the location of geotagged tweets in the BlackBerry Maps app amongst others.
