Seagate teases with new storage product that targets gamers

Gamers will be pleased to know that Seagate has their best interests at heart with a teaser page for an upcoming storage device which it touts is able to boost system performance by up to 150%, where it can “learn about its user” so to speak, decreasing disk time, boot time, and load times in the process. The company will also team up with Asus to bring one of Asus’ gaming systems to a whole new level. There aren’t any specific details released just yet, but folks are speculating that this could very well be a SSD/HDD hybrid that will merge the best of both words – fast load times of solid-state modules with the cheap and high-capacity storage available via conventional disks.
