They say that two’s company, three’s a crowd. Guess what – the laser pico projector market has just become that, where a third model joined the fray where it is known as the Uniden ULP1000 lsaer pico projector. Capable of churning out WVGA (848 x 480) resolution and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, it will come with a rather innovative-looking charging station as seen above in place of a standard power adapter. On a full charge, the projector is touted to last for around two hours, which is more or less the industry average when it comes to pico projectors. You can connect via VGA and composite, but we do hope that an SD memory card slot will be part of the equation alongside Wi-Fi connectivity to bring hardware of its kind to the next level. Why laser? Well, such a projection system is touted to be the optimal display technology at the moment thanks to its ability to display on any surface with out needing to focus. Let’s face it, it is all about convenience and laziness these days.
