Boost Mobile to offer Motorola i1

The Motorola i1 holds the distinction of being the first rugged Android smartphone in the world, where it will be availabe in the US from Boost Mobile, although a concrete release date has yet to be announced. The Motorola i1 is proud to be the first rugged PTT Android smartphone which supposedly “meets Military specifications for protection against dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain.” For $50 a month, you ought to be able to enjoy unlimited talk, text, web and e-mail – too bad we’re still waiting for an official price point. Guess you can now go talking under the rain now with the i1, but it remains to be seen just how fantabulous their network is when it comes to data.

Word in the street is ViewSonic's on the brink of unveil a fresh, ICS-equipped 7-inch tablet at MWC (together with everyone else). While the slate's best feature might be Google's 4.0 treat , ViewSonic's… »
