Gigabyte M1125 convertible tablet to debut at Computex 2010

Computex 2010 is the place to be if you are interested in checking out the Gigabyte M1125 convertible tablet. This 11.6″ device will sport a high resolution 1,366 x 768 pixel touchscreen display, and is equipped with a full sized keyboard for all your typing needs whenever you aren’t using it as a tablet. While there is no confirmation on the type of processor it will run on, it will come with an Intel Calpella chipset. Good to see Gigabyte jump aboard the USB 3.0 bandwagon with the M1125, where an optical disc drive (no mention of Blu-ray here) and a docking station completes the list of specifications which we know of at the moment. We hope to garner more information concerning pricing, availability and detailed specifications in the near future though. Convertible tablets haven’t really caught on even with newer iterations, but the market seems to be large enough to sustain newer releases albeit without breaking new ground as an alternative niche device.
