Toshiba looks like doesn’t want to be left behind in the storage game, and the company has just announced its new line of external hard drives, dubbed the STOR.E ALU2. It’s available in both 2.5-inch (320GB, 500GB and 640GB) and 3.5-inch (500GB, 640GB, 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB) form factors and comes enclosed in an aluminum enclosure. It sports a USB 2.0 connection, allowing transfer rates up to 480MB/s. These external drives will be hitting Europe, Middle East, and Africa later this month, though there isn’t any mention of a US release or pricing just yet.
