BlackBerry Drive trademark application filed

Research In Motion recently filed a trademark application for “Blackberry Drive“, where it describes it as “Key fobs; non-electric cables and wires of common metal; small items of metal hardware; goods of common metal not included in other classes”. This filing was made slightly more than a week ago, and from the sounds of it, it is as though Blackberry users are able to pair up their device to a shackle in order for locks to be opened simply by entering a PIN on the Blackberry application. Interesting, but how easy is it to compromise such a setup? We won’t be using this to store information that can lead devious busybodies to our stash of cash, that’s for sure.
