Topio Dio serves up drinks at bar

Topio Dio serves up drinks at bar

Robots are mighty fine things, but here’s one that is interesting – the Topio Dio who is smart enough to conjure up your favorite chalice of poison. We’re talking about a bartending robot here, where he measures 125cm tall and tips the scales at 45kg, where he features 28 joints, a trio of wheels, an integrated camera and a sensor with Wi-Fi control capability. There is no word on pricing, but don’t expect it to come cheap. He might not be as flexible as an actual bartender and lacks the social skills to let you pour your heart out for him to hear, but at least you know he will be able to pump out drinks with amazing consistency.

This tallies… »

Word in the street is ViewSonic's on the brink of unveil a fresh, ICS-equipped 7-inch tablet at MWC (together with everyone else). The ViewPad G70, which might be a follow-as much as that budget-friendly E70 we showed you at CES, is rumored to hold a touch heavier $350 price ticket than its sibling. While the slate's best feature might be Google's 4.0 treat , ViewSonic's… »
