Toshiba Libretto W100 dual-touchscreen display device

Toshiba has broken new ground yet again with their Libretto W100 dual touchscreen display laptop, where it will attempt to merge the best of both worlds where tablets and laptops are concerned. According to Toshiba, the Libretto W100 is “an intuitive, easy to use and stylish device that enables users to utilise their content in a number of different ways.” It will see action thanks to Windows 7′s touch features, letting one drag applications and the like from one screen to the other while navigating menus using either display. Underneath the hood, you will find an Intel U5400 processor, 2GB RAM, 62GB SSD for storage options, a solitary USB 2.0 port (we’re not too happy with that, but good thing there is this thing called USB hubs), a microSD memory card reader, a 1-megapixel webcam and a battery life of up to 3.5 hours. This is shaping up to be a casual device that doesn’t really cater to power users on-the-go, while offering a novel way of surfing the Internet. There is no word on pricing, but it will be released in the UK later this summer. Hey, what about us living across the pond?
