ASUS Lamborghini VX6 to hit the US this September

The ASUS Lamborghini VX6 looks set to make a splash in the netbook market this coming September, offering specifications that tend to lean more towards the higher end instead of the usual. Tipping the scales at just 1.5kg, it is slightly heavier than a standard netbook but that is largely due to its 12.1? display which boasts 1,366 x 768 resolution, letting you watchHD movies on it (albeit at 720p and not full HD). An Intel Atom D525 processor powers the VX6, while an NVIDIA ION 2 graphics chipset with 512MB of DDR3 VRAM ensures smooth delivery of graphics all the time, helping the netbook live up to its Lamborghini association. Other hardware specifications are available in the extended post, where we hope to get hold of pricing details in due time.
